We LOVE Deb's cookies and we LOVE Deb! She bakes her cookies with all the best ingredients and fills them with love! She is a lovely lady and the cookies are so tasty! She offers a great selection of flavors and cookie varieties, as well as special seasonal offerings and other treats. Prices were good and cookies are a good, satisfying size. She handled our bulk order over the phone and had it ready ahead of time. Can't get enough of these cookies!
This place is AMAZING and the service is outstanding too! Great people and great food. Had the Bomb breakfast and it was huge. Super flavorful and delicious. Plus got the half order of biscuits and gravy. It came with a good amount as well even for a half order. So good I am going back today. Also got the hazelnut coffee because I read good reviews. Another perfect treat. DEFINITELY going back. I love how friendly they were and it’s rare to go to a place where they know the people that walk through their door. This place does!
Unfortunately I don't have any pictures to share but trust me, the presentation is as good as the flavor of her product. I was gifted a large variety of cup cakes for my birthday and I have to say that they are by far the best cupcakes I've ever had. I often sample cupcakes and Debbie's are perfectly sweetened, fluffy and light but have enough weight and volume; they aren't gut bombers nor do you get that sick feeling after eating too much sugar. The coconut cupcakes were my favorite. We had to go back and sample the cookies. We tried the chocolate chip, almond-coconut, oreo chocolate chip and of course had to grab brownie. My husband was the judge and he loved them all. No need to go to Crumble anymore, we have a great local shop to support with quality baked goods!!
I went to try Deb’s after seeing so many good reviews from locals. They were all sold out of sweets except for two coconut cupcakes, which was all I needed so it worked out perfect, and they were so good! They were pretty big cupcakes, too. But honestly, I think the best part of Deb’s Cookie Jar is Deb, herself. She is a gem and IB is lucky to have such a cute little place run by such a sweet lady. It’s a grab-and-go kinda place so it’s perfect for a quick sweet treat.
Deb is just as sweet as the treats 🍪 she bakes. She is always willing to help you out with requests in any event you may have. But be wise she sells out fast. So I do recommend if you're planning a big event to contact her for a custom order.
Incredible local spot providing the neighborhood with sweet treats, delicious breakfast, hot coffee, and lots of LOVE! The cookies here are phenomenal. Im gonna have a sugar overload because Deb is just so sweet! (Not to mention my new cookie habit)
Deb is quite possibly the nicest person I've met since moving here to California. I found her shop by accident while driving by one day on the way home. It's in an out of the way place. It's a small unassuming shop. The cookies are absolutely delicious and if you go in and you're wondering which one to try make sure that no matter what you try the one called the dark side. It's absolutely delicious and chocolatey without being too sweet. But even better than the cookies are her cupcakes. I haven't had cake this good in years. It doesn't have that heavy texture that a lot of homemade cakes have and her buttercream is light and I could literally just eat a bowl full of it. She's pretty much the best thing about Imperial Beach so far.
Finally stopped by and grabbed some biscuits and gravy with a side of sausage. Very tasty, probably the best I've had in San Diego. I will definitely be back to try other items. Maybe a cookie or two also. 😛 …
I haven't been to Deb's in a while! I got the Dark Side cookie which is a chocolate chocolate chip cookie! I also wanted a peanut butter cookie but I came too late and was sold out. Instead I got a peanut m&m cookie which was great!! You really cant go wrong with any of their cookies! Their cookies are not only huge but they are also big on flavor and fresh ingredients!! Deb is also a sweetheart that cares about her customers!
Small business but Packed with delicious treats. We enjoyed the conversation with Deb’s Husband just a First Class Gentleman. The Cookie display is anyone’s Dream. Now let’s talk about how delicious the Cookies and Brownies are. Just the best Bakery in a San Diego.
